Time Warner Cable SportsNet to broadcast Los Angeles Lakers summer games

It might be only July, but Los Angeles Lakers fans can catch their summer-league basketball team in action this month.

Time Warner Cable SportsNet will televise the Lakers’ 2013 NBA Summer League Games live. In the new tournament-style format, the Lakers will compete in three preliminary round games before being seeded in a tournament that runs through the Championship Game on July 22.

The Lakers will play at least five games this summer on Time Warner Cable SportsNet, with the first on Friday, July 12 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Here’s a look at the games to be televised so far:

The Lakers’ additional games and television dates will be determined after the start of the tournament.
