Are you ready for marriage, Palm Springs?

July 23rd, 2013 | by Will Dean | Comments

Think you’ve heard all there is to know about same-sex marriage? Before you pop the question and declare “I do,” you may want to consider the legal and emotional ramifications of marriage equality.

A panel of experts plans to provide at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (July 24)  a follow-up to the U.S. Supreme Court’s rulings striking down California’s Proposition 8 and the federal Defense of Marriage Act. The free “What’s Next?” presentation will include a question-and-answer session, and will take place at Mizell Senior Center, 480 S. Sunrise Way in Palm Springs.
