After a busy season inside the Palm Springs Pavilion to beat the sometimes sweltering temperatures, the Certified Farmers’ Market will be returning outdoors, that is, after a two-week break.

Saturday will be the final day of the market’s summer tenure inside the pavilion. The market will return Oct. 5 at its outdoor location, where it will remain for the fall and winter seasons.

“We’re just really excited,” said the markets’ general manager Paul Palodichuk.

After being closed for the summer, the markets in both La Quinta and Palm Desert will be opening. The La Quinta market will be open starting Oct. 6, and on Wednesday, Oct. 9, the market will return to Palm Desert.

Like the markets’ previous five seasons, this upcoming season will include live music, chef demonstrations and other fun events, said Palodichuk.
