Yesterday reports of the government shutdown spreading to The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, or TTB, had many in the valley wondering whether newest edition La Quinta Brewing Co. will face any delays. Later afternoon yesterday, founder Scott Stokes has confirmed the brewer is still on course.
“No, that’s not delaying us,” said Stokes. “I think it’s breweries that are currently in the process with their license and that’s probably at a stand still anyway. We got ours months ago so we’re good.”
Stokes also confirmed that the brewery got its final inspection completed earlier this month and will soon be brewing.
