The Great American Beer Festival sold out in record time this year. In its 32nd year, GABF sold all its tickets within 20 minutes. The festival that draws folks from across the country to Denver, Colo. kicked off last night. While lines and angry locals who didn’t grab a ticket in time have become new issues, GABF opened with Ommegang‘s announcement of it’s third collab brew with HBO’s Game of Thrones — take that ComicCon! The Fire and Blood Red Ale is inspired by House Targaryen and will be released in Spring of next year. So, if you’re at home reading up on the latest brews news from outside the convention (aka sunny Palm Springs) like I am, we’ll just have to enjoy the Take the Black Stout for the moment.
