Reports: ‘Fast and Furious’ actor Paul Walker dead at 40

According to reports from TMZ, “Fast and Furious” actor Paul Walker has died in a single-car accident in Santa Clarita at the age of 40.

The actor was reported to be in a Porsche when the driver, who at the time is unknown, crashed into a tree leading the car to explode into flames.

At around 7:20 p.m., the Associated Press confirmed with Walker’s publicist that Walker was one of the two who died in the fiery crash.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station told Us Weekly they confirmed two deaths in the traffic collision that occurred at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Walker’s Facebook page posted to its wall,

“It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker has passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event.”

The Coroner’s Office is working to find out the identities of the other victim in the collision.
