Mother Jones has obtained a confidential memo from the big-donor confab that billionaire Koch brothers held in Indian Wells last month.

KochsThe invitation-only gathering, which have brought the Kochs to the desert since 2003, brings together some of the Republicans most influential donors.

For this year’s event, the Kochs returned to the Renaissance Esmeralda resort, which closed the public out of its restaurant and other amenities to protect the conference’s privacy.

According to Mother Jones, the VIP donors included John Schnatter, who founded the Papa John’s pizza chain,  and TRT Holdings’ co-founder Robert Rowling.

“The more than 40 donors courted by the Kochs include hedge fund and private-equity billionaires, real estate tycoons, and executives of top corporations, including Jockey International and TRT Holdings, owner of Omni Hotels and Gold’s Gym,” Mother Jones reported. “A number of them have never been identified as members of the Koch donor network.”
