With Modernism Week in progress in Palm Springs – the tours, lectures, and parties are currently in motion to celebrate all things modern in design.
I often find myself drawn to a mix of old and new. Many times, the success of a given room in making a statement involves one conversation piece that doesn’t necessarily “fit” with everything else.
These clever iPod docking stations, that could certainly get people talking, don’t only pay homage to the past - they also provide a needed function.
So on this Valentines Day, I will be celebrating the modern marriage of music, technology, and design.
I hope my sweetie takes the hint.
