Entertaining is a lost art, and Palm Springs native Barbara Stafford is hoping it will make a comeback.

In her new cookbook, “Eclectic Entertaining,” Stafford shares 15 easy dinner-party menus, each with their own unique five courses. Inside each chapter, readers will learn hosting tips from when to shop, when to prepare and how to enjoy the role as host or hostess.

At the end of each chapter is a QR code, a unique bar code that when scanned with a SmartPhone will direct readers to the digital shopping list–good bye hand-written notes. If instead you wish to cook an individual dish instead of the whole menu, simply select the individual item and get the list for that specific dish.

Stafford, who now resides in the Denver area, will be at Kitchen Kitchen in Indian Wells on Saturday, March 8 to sample dishes from her new book.
